Freya Mabel Makes started in August 2022, after creating a few tapestries as birthday gifts for friends. It has since grown into a small business of uniquely designed and made tapestries of some of my favourite places, and Scotland’s most iconic landscapes.
From a young age, I have enjoyed exploring Scotland and have spent many family holidays camping and cycling in all weathers. It is a joy to be able to combine my love for Scotland with my passion for sewing.
Originally based in Leith, I have now moved to Highland Perthshire where everything is produced in my home studio.
I also offer custom designed tapestries and I am available for one-off items of clothing and prints for commission such as menus, invitations and cards. Please get in touch below to find out more.
